Sales conditions for private events
Booking :
The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all services sold by telephone, by post and by e-mail.
The fact of giving a credit card number as a guarantee and/or paying a deposit commits the client to the hotelier and implies his acceptance of the conditions of sale.
The client undertakes to return the premises in the state in which they were delivered. Any material damage will be noted by both parties and will be restored in the same condition by the client. The client must also be covered for "Civil Liability" by a solvent company, in accordance with article 1382 and following of the Civil Code, covering any damage that may be caused to the building and its surroundings, including car parks, facilities, installations and other property belonging to the Abbaye Hotel.
Equipment and handling :
When, at the request of the client, the hotel provides equipment
equipment belonging to third parties, it acts in the name of, on behalf of and for the account of the organising Client. The Client shall be obliged to treat such equipment with the utmost care and to return it in good working order. He shall release the hotel from any liability for claims by third parties arising from this assignment.
Insurance :
The hotel accepts no liability for damage of any kind and in particular for
The hotel declines all responsibility for damage of any kind, and in particular fire and/or theft, which may affect the objects or equipment brought by the client during the event.
Choice of menu & Guarantee of cutlery :
The number of meals to be served must be confirmed at the latest 7 days before the date of the meal. Beyond this date, meals ordered but not consumed will be invoiced at 100%.
Please inform us of any allergies and/or special diets that require our attention.
Bringing in food and drink:
As a matter of principle, it is forbidden to bring in food and drink. Only a written agreement with the hotel management allows exceptions to this rule. In this case, a flat rate is charged to cover
to cover general expenses.
Our rooms:
The rooms are available from 5 pm and must be vacated by 12 noon.
Deposit :
The "firm and final" confirmation will be effective upon receipt of the deposit. We ask for a 50% deposit for all reservations. If the payment is not made by credit card, we will ask you for an imprint as a guarantee. The balance of the service is to be paid on the day of the service on departure.
Cancellation :
Cancellation of a reservation is effective upon receipt of an e-mail or letter from the client confirming the cancellation.
The date of receipt of the cancellation request will be the date used for the cancellation.
Cancellation without charge on D-15
Cancellation between 15 days and 7 days before the event: the services will be invoiced at 50%.
Cancellation less than 7 days before the event or no-show; services will be invoiced at 100%.
