Saint-Cyprien in Périgord

A small village located in the Périgord Noir, Saint Cyprien is particularly known for its medieval town and its abbey church dating from the 12th and 14th centuries. Its bell tower-keep stands out in the landscape and can be visited during the Heritage Days.

In summer, the village comes alive during the gourmet markets: large tables, songs, producers, local specialties... are waiting for you. Not far away, Belvès, Beynac, Castelnaux and all the most beautiful villages in Périgord…and in France!

1001 Castles

The castles of the Périgord noir

It is said that there would be 1001 castles in Périgord. It's up to you to believe it or not! In any case, impossible to spend a weekend or your holidays in Périgord without visiting these wonders of the old days.

Within a radius of 20 kilometers around our hotel, let yourself be charmed by the castles of Beynac, Castelnaud, Marqueyscac, Commarque, or even by the castle of Milandes where the famous Joséphine Baker was the owner.

Among the 154 labeled French villages, 10 are to be discovered in the Dordogne department, including 9 in Périgord Noir!

Head for the villages of Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Castelnaud and its castle, continuing via Saint-Amand de Coly and Belvès without forgetting the beautiful bastides of Domme, Limeuil and Monpazier…

Less known for its gardens than for its castles and its gastronomy, the Dordogne is nevertheless full of enchanting gardens which know how to sublimate the landscapes they dominate or the residences of which they are the setting.
